How It Works

The SoundPlus IR T3 commercial-grade, medium-area infrared transmitter can cover up to 32,000 sq. ft. in single-channel mode with the RX22-4 receiver. Its sleek, compact footprint is ideal for assistive listening and language interpretation in commercial spaces such as conference rooms, assisted living facilities, small cinema/theaters, classrooms and courtrooms.Williams Sound IR T2 transmitter The IR T3 is capable of transmitting on four different carrier frequencies in single-channel mode, but it can only transmit on two channels simultaneously. It can be set to transmit on 2.3 and 2.8 MHz simultaneously, or it can be set to transmit on 3.3 and 3.8 MHz simultaneously. The unit automatically detects the presence of audio on the microphone and Phoenix style audio inputs and transmits on either or both channels when an audio signal is present. The IR T3 is shipped with Williams Sound's TFP 057 (48VDC power supply). It also includes optional Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capability, Williams AV 4-channel WIR RX 224 infrared receiverallowing remote power delivery up to 100 feet, and remote RS-232 commands provide convenient control. Furthermore, IR T3 is also compatible with the Williams Sound POE 001 Power-over-Ethernet transformer, and with most POE switches (see Tech data IR T3 POE Kits).

The IR RX22-4N is a four-channel selectable infrared receiver compatible with transmitters operating on the 2.3/2.8/3.3/3.8 MHz bandwidth.
