The Digi-WAVE Tour Guide Systems can play a key role in enhancing communication between tour guides and tour group members. It helps overcome background noise and distance from the tour guide - even in extremely noisy surroundings. The DWS TGS 10, DWS TTGS 10 and DWS TGS VIP 12 systems can be used in factories, museums, tourist attractions, bus tours anywhere hearing assistance is required for tour-type presentations. The Digi-WAVE tour guide system saves the tour guide’s voice, enhances the experience of the tour group members, and ensures that the presentation doesn't disturb those outside the tour group.

The new Digi-WAVE is a two-presenter, two-way, wireless communication system in the 2.4 GHz band. With 2.4 GHz operation harmonized for use in most countries, the Digi-Wave is a global turn-key solution. It is slim, lightweight, and simple to set up and use. With the push of a button, users can access two-way communication for easy tour guide/tour group participation. The two major components are the portable DLT-100 transceiver for 1-way or 2-way operation and the DLR-50 receiver for 1-way listening applications. Up to four groups can simultaneously use the system in 2-way operation mode.

The portable DLT 100 Transceiver (right) is capable of transmitting and receiving digital modulated signals up to 100 ft outdoors and up to 200 ft indoors to other DLT 100 transceivers or DLR 50 receivers. Operating on the 2.4GHz ISM band the DLT 100 has a high resistance to RF interference and can be used in most countries around the world. It can operate on four channels simultaneously in two-way mode and fifteen channels simultaneously in one-way mode. Patented frequency-hopping software greatly reduces interference potential. An LCD displays current set-up, battery life, time and RF strength. All controls are on the front panel and also provide access to change set-up. The DLT-100 transceiver is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker. Two 3.5 mm mono jacks can accommodate external headset microphones such as MIC 100, MIC044 2P single muff or MIC 079 dual muff headset microphone. Other listening options include headphones, earbuds or neckloop. It has built-in rechargeable batteries with 14 hours of use after a 4 hour charge. Each DLT includes a charger but it can also be charged with any iPod/iPhone USB charging cable. Multiple DLT transceivers can be charged in the optional CHG 102 two-bay charger, or in the CHG 1012 12-bay drop-in charger. CHG 1012 will conveniently store and charge up to 12 DLT 100 transceivers over the course of a five-hour time span.  The battery status and charge indication are provided on the DLT 100's LED display. The charger is powered by an external universal power supply for 90-240 VAC input. US 110 volt power plug is standard. Other plug types are available upon request.

The portable DLR 50 Receiver (left) is capable of receiving digital signals up to 100 ft outdoors and up to 200 ft indoors with DLT 100’s. It can operate up to fifteen channels simultaneously when used in one way application. An LCD displays channel of operation, volume setting and low battery status. All controls are on the front panel and also provide access to change set-up. The DLR 50 is equipped with a 3.5mm mono jack that can accommodate a variety of listening options such as headphones, earbuds or neckloops. The DLR-50 receiver has a battery life up to 24 hours with two AAA Alkaline batteries. Power will automatically shut off after approximately one minute when not operating with other compatible devices.
