The Digi-WAVE personal communication system adds a new dimension to assistive listening the classroom, one-on-one language interpretation in the courtroom, team teaching in the conference
room, and an endless number of other applications. With 2.4 GHz operation harmonized for use in most countries, the Digi-Wave is a global turn-key solution. Up to 14 systems can operate simultaneously in close proximity of one another. It is the ideal system for classrooms where one or more students have hearing loss, central auditory processing disorder (CAPD) or have cochlear implants. Two transmitters can be on at the same time for team-teaching applications. For the first time, it is also the only portable solution that permits the students to talk back to teachers with hearing loss. It is slim, lightweight, and simple to set up and use. All standard packages offered by Centrum Sound are pre programmed and ready for use.
The DLT 300 Transceiver features full-duplex capability, supporting up to four simultaneous talkers in two-way mode, and up to six simultaneous talkers in intercom mode. Slim, lightweight, and simple to set up and use. One- or two-way operation offers flexibility in an array of applications. The transceiver can operate 15 simultaneous channels in interpretation mode, support 4 simultaneous groups in two-way mode, allow a maximum of 4 simultaneous talkers in 2-way mode, and a maximum of 6 simultaneous talkers in Intercom Mode. With the push of a button, users can access two-way communication for immediate interaction or Q&A. The DLT 300 is capable of transmitting and receiving digital modulated signals up to
200 ft outdoors and up to 400 ft indoors to other DLT 300 transceivers or DLR-360 receivers. Operating on the 2.4GHz ISM band
the DLT 300 has a high resistance to RF interference and can be used in most countries around the world. Patented frequency-hopping software greatly reduces interference potential. An LCD displays current set-up, battery life, time and RF strength. All controls are on the front panel and also provide access to change set-up. The DLT 300 transceiver is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker. Two 3.5 mm mono jacks can accommodate external headset microphones such as MIC 100, MIC 044 2P single muff or MIC 068 dual muff headset microphone. Other listening options include headphones, earbuds or neckloop. It has built-in rechargeable batteries with 14 hours of use after a 4 hour charge. Each DLT includes a charger but it can also be charged with any iPod/iPhone USB charging cable.
The DLR 360 Receiver (right) is capable of receiving digital signals up to 200 ft outdoors and up to 400 ft indoors from DLT 300 transceivers. The DLR 360 receiver is for listen-only applications and very simple to set up and use. Features include automatic mode selection and shut-off. A large LCD displays channel, volume, battery level and RF signal strength. It receives up to two presenters simultaneously during team presentations and can be used with earphones, headphones, neckloop or the built-in speaker. Add any quantity of receivers for larger groups. Power will automatically shut off after approximately one minute when not operating with other compatible devices. The DLR 360 can be powered by two AAA alkaline batteries (BAT 010-2) or two NiMH rechargeable AAA batteries (BAT 022-2).
The Digi-Wave Dock DWD 102 offers an innovative extension to the Digi-Wave two-way wireless communication system. It provides a simple, flexible way to connect the portable Digi-Wave systems to other fixed systems. The connection begins when a Digi-Wave transceiver or receiver is simply plugged into the Dock. The Dock provides continuous power and/or charging for two Digi-Wave devices, and has separate audio inputs and outputs in each of its bays (double click on image for full rear display).
The optional CHG 1012 12-bay drop-in charger (right) can charge multiple DLTs and DLR at the same time. The CHG 1012 can charge up to 12 units (any combination of DLT and DLR units) over the course of a five-hour time span. The battery status and charge indication is provided on the LED display. The CHG 1012
PRO (double click image on right) includes a carry case so it conveniently can store a complete system. The chargers are powered by external universal power supplies for 90-240 VAC input. US 110 volt power plug is standard. Other plug types may be available at an additional charge. A two-bay charger CHG 102 (left) is also available. It is ideal for personal systems with on DLT transceiver and DLR receiver. Although all DLT transceivers are supplied with individual chargers, the CHG 102 charger may be more coinvent for applications with two or more DLT's are being used on a daily basis.
